Engineering Department. The Station name-board, doors, window

and floors of the Tong Teu Ha Station building and staff

quarters were damaged. 1 bomb was dropped at Km. 117/5, 10 between 117/18 and 117/15, and 1 at Em. 119/5. Doors, windows

and ceiling of the Ting Tong Wai station building were damage

HAN KORG. Between 14. 30 and 14. 55 hours 2 enemy planes raided the Railway, dropping 5 bombs between Km. 29/8 and Km. 29/3 and damaging 2 rails and 8 sleepers. Third Class Passon-

ger Goach No. 79 and Third Baggage Mail Van No. 54 of No. 9

Through Slow Train were damaged by splinters while the Engine was machine gunned and damaged.

Repair to track was immediately carried out.

TONG TOU HA LI FONG. Between 17.20 and 17.20 hours the

kailway was again attacked by 1 enemy plane when 2 bombs were

dropped at Ka 110/10, 1 at Km. 119/7, and 2 between Ka. 129/18

and Km. 189/15. No damage was done to the Railway.

STH DEC ME

LUNG SHEK KU. Between 9.30 and 10.30 hours the

Railway was attacked by about 10 enemy planes.

8 bombs were

dropped at Tong Tou Ha Station and near Bridge No. 172,

damaging 2 pairs of rail on Main line, # goods»shelters,

Traffic Porters Quarter and the roofs of the station build-

ing and staff quarters. 4 bombs were dropped at the Bast

River Bridge but without damage, and 4 at the Tung Kun River

Bridge damaging the ballast wall and pilasters of the North

abutment and 5 paire of rail with all fittings on the

approach span. The soldiers matshed near the bridge wan

also destroyed, and telegraph wires between Sheklung and

Nam Sheh were broken. 1 bomb was dropped at Km. 76/5

damaging the telegraph wires, and 14 bonba between ăm. 108/10

and Km. 118/13 danaging 1 pair of rail and 5 sleepers at

Im. 108/0 and 5 rails and the road bed at Km. 115/18.

Repairs to the track were immediately carried out.
